Georgia C. Yalanis, MD, MSc
Georgia manages a portfolio of life science technologies with a focus on medical innovations and therapeutic development. She leverages her expertise in medical communications, regulatory affairs, and health economics to help researchers navigate the commercialization pathway and launch successful companies. As a co-founder in a successful biotech startup, she understands firsthand the challenges of bringing technologies to market and works closely with inventors to accelerate their path from discovery to commercial success. Georgia has contributed to two successful FDA product approvals and brings extensive experience in oncology, immunology, and breast cancer research. She earned her M.D. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.Sc. in Global Medicine and Public Health from the University of Southern California. As Associate Director of Commercialization, she combines her clinical background with business acumen to transform academic discoveries into market-ready technologies that improve patient outcomes.
